Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the implementation of the law dated July 6, 2023, on amendments to the law “On non-bank credit organizations“.
Thanks to the updated law, the NBCO was allowed to issue credit cards.
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan must approve the procedure for opening and maintaining payment accounts, as well as issuing credit cards within 6 months, and inform the head of state about it.
